Object of the service.
Backercamp is a site that provides consultancy, marketing, hands-on support, and business services for crowdfunding projects, startup businesses, and companies. Users must enter their e-mail and the url link of their projects to sign up for our service plans.
Acceptance of the terms.
Rules and conduct.
A valid credit card, PayPal account or TransferWise account is required for paying the service. When you use a service that has a fee you have an opportunity to review and accept the fees that you will be charged. Changes to fees are effective after we provide you with notice by posting the changes on the Site. You are responsible for paying all fees and taxes associated with your use of the Service. Backercamp does not guarantee the performance of your funding project, marketing campaigns or actions, and you, not Backercamp, will remain solely responsible for the content of your campaign and marketing actions. Backercamp can't guarantee that your project will be approved by Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdfunding third party services, and will not be liable for any damages as a result of the actions they may take. As for to the media outreach services, we make no guarantee with respect to media coverage. We put you or your business in contact with the media, and we have no control over what they may or may not write about your business. All payments are nonrefundable. There will be no refunds or credits for partial use of service. In order to treat everyone equally, no exceptions will be made.
Contents and authorization.
Sites of third parties.
The service may contain links to other websites or resources on the internet, and other websites and resources can contain links to the site. This does not constitute a relationship between these sites with Backercamp, nor does it imply Backercamp's support of these sites. Access third party sites at your own risk.
By delivering the content you accept that: Backercamp does not own or have any rights over any submission submitted by a User. By using the service you authorize us to use your materials to promote our service. Your content, or its use, cannot infringe on the rights of another person, entity or corporation. Backercamp is not responsible for the accuracy of content. Backercamp, under certain circumstances, may cancel the promotion of those projects that break intellectual property rights of third parties.
Limitation of liability.
Backercamp is not responsible for: Who accesses the site what what content they access. Any consequences the content may cause the users, or how they may use, understand or interpret that content. Any actions users may take as a result of having been exposed to the content. Backercamp cannot guarantee the authenticity of the information that users give about the projects. You absolve Backercamp from all liability for the content you access through the site. Backercamp does not guarantee that any content will be available through the service, and does not have the duty to monitor the service or content. Backercamp reserves the right, at any time, for any reason, without previous notiﬁcation, and without examining the reasons of any of these actions, to cancel, refuse, interrupt, terminate or suspend the promotion of a project. Backercamp, its suppliers and partners cannot guarantee that the service will be secure or available at any particular time or location. Any mistake or defect will be corrected. Any content available through the service will be free of viruses or harmful components.
In agreement with Spanish Organic Law 15/1999, of 13th December, governing the Protection of Personal Data, we want you to know that all the data you supply us will be stored on a ﬁle, which is the property of Backercamp. This ﬁle is registered at the Spanish Agency for Data Protection that guarantees the security and privacy of your data. Backercamp may collect and process the following information: - Personal details: e-mail. - Any communication we may send you related to the service or its content: newsletters, invitations, information requests, etc. - Information you may send us to inform us of any problem. - IP addresses. If you wish to exercise your right to access, change, cancellation or opposition, just send us an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Use of your personal data.
We will use the information you’ve provided us to: - Provide you Backercamp services. - Send you information you’ve requested or that could be of interest to you. - Introduce projects that may be of interest to you when you’re using the service based on your location or your use of the service. - Contact you for any question related to the service. - Analyze the use of the service to improve our contents and services. - For other purposes we will inform you about when we request the information.
Our primary form of contact is through email. We reserve the right to send you an email to confirm transactions with Backercamp or in other situations where communication with your is required to fulfill the Terms of Service.
Third party services.
Your privacy is important to us. Backercamp will not share your name or any other personal details with any third parties unless required for the effective use of the service (for instance, sharing transaction details with our payment processor Stripe).
Any personal information or content that you post on public areas of the service will be publicly available and Backercamp is not responsible for how the information is used after being posted. As a result, we ask you to be careful with the information you post publicly.
Backercamp does reserve the right to provide your personal information to legal entities should it be requested and required by law, or if necessary to protect our rights. If you wish to amend or cancel the personal information you’ve provided us, email us at email@example.com. Some information may have to remain stored to comply with legal requirements. While we take every precaution to protect your information and privacy, because of the international nature of Backercamp, it is possible the information may be transferred between countries (such as that used for Google Analytics, or if your computer should be in a different country than our server.)
